What Is Scitable?
Your current courseware can now include archives of new genetics content from one of the world’s most trusted publishers of science journals. Scitable, by Nature Education (a division of Nature Publishing Group), is a collaborative teaching and learning space for undergraduate biology faculty and students.

And it’s free.

The first Scitable module is devoted to genetics. Topics of investigation include:chromosomes and cytogenetics, evolutionary genetics, gene expression and regulation,genes and disease, gene inheritance and transmission, genetics and society, genomics,nucleic acid structure and function, and population genetics.           

Each topic includes dozens of readable and thorough overviews of key concepts sponsored by editors at Nature Publishing Group. Further, each overview is linked to cutting edge research published by Nature Publishing Group journals, giving undergraduate students access to real-world scientific inquiry, exploration and experimentation.
